The Traceability and Sustainability Solution
FOR YOUR FURNITURE HERITAGE
Our Story
It is by observing the practices of our clients and our teams, especially in the high-end Hospitality and Catering market, that the idea of developing this new service came to us.
One of our clients, the owner of a grand palace, confessed to us that they were « losing a piece of furniture daily », while another was facing difficulties in the daily maintenance and management of furniture.
As for our teams, they are often forced to intervene unexpectedly within very tight deadlines (often on the same day) on furniture that is not always well identified in order to meet the demanding standards of these prestigious establishments.
The stamp
of the 21st century
Guided by our commitment to our clients, our passion for luxury furniture, for heritage preservation, as well as our social responsibility, we began to outline a solution that would address our clients’ challenges.
The idea took shape, discussions ensued, and the concept revolved around the notions of furniture traceability and sustainability: the 21st-century stamp was born with Tracking Furniture.
This 21st-century stamp allows access to the furniture’s identity card (manufacturer, creation date, owner’s identification) through a tag, a wood imprint, and photos, referred to as a digital certificate. It also keeps a record of subsequent restorations in a maintenance booklet. All this information is certified and protected by Blockchain Iota technology to ensure its unfalsifiable and irrevocable nature.
Blockchain, or “chaîne de blocs” in French, emerged as the best technological solution to address our furniture traceability and sustainability challenges, as it enables the storage and transmission of furniture-related information and maintenance in a highly secure, unfalsifiable, and irrevocable environment.

A simple internet platform with PDF document transfer would not have allowed us to offer this service as the falsification of sources or their history is still possible.
Iota technology is well known for being the Internet of Connected Objects, and it is also widely used in logistics, among other fields, because it enables the storage of a large volume of information using minimal energy resources through its consensus mechanism.
The Iota protocol thus appeared to be the best technological option for building our project and meeting our goal of providing our clients with a < strong>simple, efficient, and energy-efficient solution.
Our service proposal

The 21st century mark allows, through a tag, a wood imprint, and photos, to know the identity card of the furniture (the manufacturer, the date of creation, owner identification, a description of the item) via a certificate, while also keeping track of the successive restorations done by updating a maintenance booklet, all certified and protected by blockchain technology.
